Solaris Power 44 Open, The Solaris Power 44 Open, the new 13.47-meter lobster boat with an all-open cockpit designed by Brunello Acampora, which is expanding the range of the shipyard of the same name, has been launched. Also striking about the new Solaris Power 44 Open is the architecture of the entire deck plan, which, of course by family feeling recalls that of the 48 Open, but adds several solutions that, judging from the first images, make it well elongated and dare I say even more spacious in terms of footprint. The aft sundeck, for example, extends a little beyond the transom, thus lengthening its usable surface area, while the two side decks appear well wide along their entire length, that is, from the extreme aft to the apex of the bow. The walkaround conformation of the deck with the crowning of the high bulwarks makes the entire perimeter of the boat passable in comfort and safety. In addition, part of the bulwarks can be lowered on both sides, gaining 20 percent more surface area, as well as giving two diving boards. Precisely because of its walkaround characteristic, the furnishings in the cockpit follow a longitudinal development on the centerline. It starts aft with the aft sundeck, which is followed by the dinette with facing sofas, the one forward of which has a translatable backrest to make the seating facing forward, then the bar cabinet, the helm console and the forward sundeck.
